Our family had the priviledge of going along with the Senior Adult Choir tour on a tour to Virginia, Pennsylvania, & New York this week. Since it was a ministry trip, I blogged about it on my ministry blog, which is located here:

Transform your taste

We picked up a special Transformers-themed M&M's candies bag this evening. The filling is "strawberried chocolate". It's a little weird, but still tasty. Transformers Movie characters Skids and Mudflap are on the cover (well, M&M's dressed like them, that is).

A hotwheels track can also make a really cool slide for GIJOE men.

Vegetarian or hypocrite?

At the supper table last night, our little guy procalaimed: "'I'm a vegetarian!" He had earlier watched an epidosde of "Barnyard" and they had used that word. "Oh really" we said, "do you even know what that means?"

Apparantly he didn't......he was eating shrimp.

First Carowinds Visit 2009

After skipping a year, we are now again in posession of a Season's Pass to Carowinds. We had a great half-day there last weekend, although rain shut things down a bit early. (I did ride the Hurler in the pouring down rain - something I've never done - AWESOME). The little guy was able to ride a few new rides after graduating to a new height.

A cycle for three

Here's a cool picture from last Sunday night of three "boys" hitting the virtual road on a game at Red Robin (the best hamburger place in Mooresville). I'm very glad they don't make adult bikes designed for three. That would weird me out a bit.
