A cycle for three

Here's a cool picture from last Sunday night of three "boys" hitting the virtual road on a game at Red Robin (the best hamburger place in Mooresville). I'm very glad they don't make adult bikes designed for three. That would weird me out a bit.

2009 Egg Hunt Pics

Here are a few pics from this year's Egg Hunt at the church.

Best Buds

This is a belatedly (is that a word??) posted pic Sharon took of a playdate with Nathan's cousin Lawson, and mutual best friend Shelby. We're a little farther from them now, so they enjoy their time together when they can.

Hunter and Me

Here's me and my pal Hunter. Just as I was about to get up and head to the movies, he decided he needed some lap time, so I obliged and we took this rare group picture.

New Babies

These little bluebirds just hatched this week. The nest is in the window of our sound/tv room at the church.

You're so fly.

Yesterday at Lowe's I introduced Nathan to what a Venus Fly Trap was. He wasn't too keen at first on the idea of a plant that "bites", but eventually warmed to the idea of us taking one home. Shortly after getting it home, we gave it a nice big juicy fly for a snack. It was really neat seeing the little "jaws" on the plant close up around it.

Feline Supervisor

Tonight after our little guy was in bed, I brought out the church laptop and began working on a Quarterly Report for church. Molly (the cat we've had the longest of our three, and the three-legged cancer survivor) decided to look on and supervise my work. This was, of course, in between attempts to solicit me to pet her, which I obliged.

It's been a long, but mostly good day. our family helped out with Operation Inasmuch projects in the community in the AM, and I took the little guy to see "Monsters vs. Aliens" while Sharon went to visit her mother in the hospital.
