I did want to make a formal announcement here on our family blog about the major change in our lives. Most of you have been aware that I have resigned my position as Minister of Music and Education at First Baptist Stanley, NC in order to take a position at a new church. Please pray for us in these coming weeks, as we'll begin some major transitions in our lives: a longer commute for a temporary time, deciding on Nathan's childcare, selling our house (as well as the tedious process of getting it ready for sale!), not to mention the many things that go along with plugging into a new church family. We are excited about where God is leading us, and there is great potential for us to be used and great opportunity for us to learn and continue to grow in Him.
As for where we're going, we're keeping that under our hats for a little while longer, but we'll be sharing that in the weeks to come as we get more acclimated to our new family schedule. Thanks to all who have been praying for us in this time of change in our lives, and we covet your prayer even further in the weeks ahead.
As for the picture below, I purchased a gently used leather chair for my soon to be new office, but the cats had to have their turn investigating this interesting new oddity.

I finally made it to your blog, linked from our stats on our blog! I just wanted to let you all know that I so enjoyed meeting Sharon and Nathan at our baby shower.
My mom talks about you all constantly and she think so much of your family. She is going to miss you so much! I know you must be looking forward to seeing what God has in store for you in this change.
