It was annual checkup for the little guy the other day. I hadn't intended on staying with him, but he asked me too. Later, when I asked why he wanted Daddy to stay, he said "Cause you're my buddy." End of story - daddy stays. These days you need all the buddies you can get.
He ended up having 5 shots. Yikes! All I heard the whole way home was "I don't like shots!" He got the shots in the legs, so I tried to tell him when he gets older they sometimes do it in the arm instead. He then told me "I don't like them in my leg, or my arm, OR MY BODY!!!" Well said.

Tell Nathan no one ever gets to where they like shots! My brother once tried to take a 6" nail into the doctor's office because he knew he was getting a shot and he was going to give the doctor one in return!
