Today was the annual Race City Festival. As is our tradition, Southside Baptist Mooresville sets up a booth to give out free gifts and info about the church. There are also other churches, businesses, organizations and vendors set up all throughout downtown. We had a good amount of success despite the repeated failure of my camera, which we were using to take souvenir photos of guests.
Our little guy also got a new pet. I gave the okay for him to buy a hermit crab from one of the vendors, which he named Nate. Nate is thoroughly enjoying his new home, and he's been quite entertaining to us this evening with his antics. I'm sure pictures will follow, but we couldn't take any tonight because he is in the darkness of our little guy's room.
We concluded the evening by watching "Journey to the Center of the Earth" which was an awesome family-friendly movie. As for me, I'm exhausted and quite sunburned. Revival services start tomorrow night as well, so buckle up for a busy week!
And for the 2.6 people out there who actually read our blog, please pray for us in some adoption decisions we're sorting through over the next week.
